Tai Chi – Level 1 Mondays 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM (First Lysander session February 5-March 19; 2nd session April 9-May 14.)
Enjoy basic Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements as they nurture the body, mind, and spirit. Relax and energize in a peaceful and easy way. Tai Chi is a soft and gentle form of exercise primarily practiced for its health benefits and relieving tension and stress. This slow-moving series of movements is low-impact and can be practiced by people of all ages and abilities. Tai Chi is gentle on joints, and improves balance, endurance, leg strength and range of motion. This practice is a relaxing way to improve your general health and energy level. All are welcome – No experience necessary.
Tai Chi – Level 2 Mondays 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM (First Lysander session February 5-March 19; 2nd session April 9-May 14.)
For those who have completed Level 1 and have some comfort and proficiency with Tai Chi and the Yang Style Short Form, we delve deeper into the philosophy and meaning of the movements, and internalize Tai Chi as a lifestyle. You will get more out of your practice as we work on technique, memorization, and flow, and go onto phase two of the form.
