Kripalu Yoga Class

Saturdays 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

This is a beginning Kripalu Yoga Class with a gentle, compassionate approach. It is accepting and adaptable to everyone, no matter your age, ability, or circumstance. The class includes: centering/meditation, pranayama (breath exercises), warm-ups, asana practice (poses), and final relaxation. Proper alignment will be taught. Modifications to postures will be offered to accommodate individual needs. Students will be encouraged to honor their own bodies, to practice loving kindness, and to “breathe, relax, feel, watch, and allow” as they move through their own yoga practice. (Although this is a beginning level class, all levels are welcome!)
